ATLAS - Cubic Zirconia Ring

Ring with cushion cut cubic zirconia [iced-out], inspired by Atlas, a character from Greek mythology, a giant who according to legend held up the weight of the sky on his shoulders. He was the son of Iapetus and Clymene, and the brother of Prometheus and Epimetheus. Atlas was a strong and courageous hero, but his most famous destiny was to be forced to hold up the sky on his shoulders. The legend tells that the gods, annoyed by his arrogance and his challenge to their power, decided to punish him with this eternal task. In classical mythology, Atlas is represented as a strong and muscular giant, often depicted holding the celestial globe on his head and shoulders. In modern culture, the image of Atlas is often used as a symbol of strength and perseverance, representing the ability to bear an immense weight and to resist difficulties.
