ZOG - Moissanite Ring

Ring with moissanite [iced-out], inspired by Zog I of Albania, also known as Ahmed Zogu, was the first king of Albania from 1928 to 1939. He was born into a family of treasure hunters and became the head of the Albanian government in 1924, when the country was still a monarchy. In 1928, Zog became the first modern king of Albania, and was crowned with the name Zog I. He was a authoritarian and autocratic ruler, and tried to modernize the country through a series of economic and social reforms. However, his government was marked by corruption and repression, and his reign was shaken by numerous coups and assassination attempts. In 1939, Zog was forced to flee from Albania following the invasion of Fascist Italy, and the country became an Italian colony. Zog died in exile in 1961.
