BROTEUS - Cubic Zirconia Ring

Ring with cubic zirconia [iced-out], inspired by Broteus, a character from Greek mythology, known as one of the twin brothers Melampus and Broteus. He was the son of Amphiaraus and a river nymph. Like Melampus, Broteus was also abandoned as a baby and saved by a couple of goats who raised him as their own child. Broteus and Melampus became famous as skilled healers and were called "the doctors of the gods". Broteus in particular was known for his ability to heal physical illnesses and for his knowledge of medicinal herbs. In some sources, Broteus is also described as a hero, known for founding the city of Orcomeno and for defeating King Proetus along with his brother Melampus. In classical mythology, Broteus is often portrayed as a wise man and expert in the medical arts, associated with healing and wisdom. His figure is often associated with knowledge, wisdom and care.
