CALLISTO - Moissanite Ring

Ring with moissanite [iced-out], inspired by Callisto, a figure in Greek mythology, often described as a nymph or a shepherdess. She was the daughter of Lycaon, king of Arcadia, and was known for her beauty and her devotion to the goddess Artemis. One time, Callisto was seduced by the god Zeus, who presented himself in the form of Artemis. From this union, Callisto had a son, Arcas. When Artemis discovered the betrayal, she was very angry and turned Callisto into a bear. Once transformed, Callisto lived in the woods, away from people. However, her son Arcas grew up and one day, while hunting, he met the bear who was actually his mother. Zeus, worried that his son could kill Callisto, turned her into a constellation, which today bears her name. According to legend, Callisto is the constellation of the Great Bear.
