METIS - Moissanite Ring

Ring with moissanite [iced-out], inspired by Metis, a figure in Greek mythology, often described as a goddess of wisdom and reflection. She was the daughter of Oceanus, the god of the sea, and Tethys, the goddess of water. Metis was known for her intelligence and cunning, and was often considered the wisest counselor of the gods. She was also the wife of Zeus, and the mother of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war. According to legend, when Metis was pregnant with Athena, Zeus had received a prophecy that his son would become more powerful than him. For this reason, Zeus swallowed Metis, fearing that his son might one day challenge him. However, Athena had already been conceived, and she emerged from Zeus's head during childbirth, becoming the goddess of wisdom and war.
